Majnu Review: A feel good romantic entertainer

Natural Star Nani is on a success streak! His last three films ‘Bhale Bhale Magadivoy’, ‘Krishnagadi Veera Premagadha’ and ‘Gentleman’ were instant hits. Now, he is back with his new film ‘Majnu’. The movie is directed by Virinchi Verma of ‘Uyyala Jampala’ fame.

Aditya(Nani), who hails from Bhimavaram is an Assistant Director of the film Bahubali. A girl Suma (Priya Shri) enters into this busy assistant director’s life. Aditya tries to woo her and win her heart. Suma is also interested in him but is tightlipped about her fondness for Aditya.

In an attempt to impress her, he reveals his flashback in which he had broken up with his lover Kiran (Anu Emmanuel). In the process he realizes that he is still in love with Kiran. Later it turns out that Aditya and Suma are cousins. Will Aditya reconcile with Kiran? Does he win his lady love forms the rest of the story!

Nani excels in his character in this romantic comedy drama helmed by Virinchi Verma. Anu Emmanuel marks her debut in Tollywood. It will take time before she starts impressing the audiences. Priya Shri is moderate in performance.

Music is the highlight of the film. The movie has special treats in the form of Rajamouli, Prabhas and Raj Tarun. This film is a perfect blend of love, romance and comedy along with some excellent punch lines and rich production values. It is sure to entertain the audiences.
