Gentleman starring Nani is a romantic thriller directed by Mohan Krishna Indraganti. The movie runs on unfolding the mystery behind Nani’s role. Mohan Krishna is about to test his luck whereas Nani is keen to bag another hit this year. Let’s get into the review.
Catherine meets Aishwarya who travels with her in the same flight. She narrates her love story to Aishwarya and then comes to know that Aishwarya has a lover too whom she is about to marry. In the process Catherine gets startled to see Aishwarya’s fiancee, Jai who exactly resembles her boyfriend Gautham. How Gautham died and why Jai resembles him forms the rest of the story.
Nani’s role forms the backbone of the film and asusual the way he carried it is more than amazing. As the director said both the lead actresses Nivedha and Surabhi have given an outstanding performance and will be remembered by their roles. Srinivas Avasarla, Vennela Kishore and Thanikella Bharani have done justice to their characters.
Performances of Nani, Nivedha and Surabhi
First two songs
Few drags in second half
Gentleman is definitely a different attempt as promised by the team. Performances of lead roles stand as the major highlight. Manisharma’s background score is an added asset. As expected Mohan Krishna has come up with one more different concept. Though second half lacks pace the film does entertain as whole. Gentleman can be a perfect weekend choice and is worth a watch.
