As expected, the pre-release business of Bahubali 2: The Conclusion is leaving the trade pundits in amazement. According to a report in GreatAndhra web portal, the 2nd installment in the epic series has fetched around Rs 137 Cr from Telugu states alone.
This is an outstanding record in itself as no other Telugu film has the potential to touch the given figure. According to the report, ‘Bahubali 2’ was sold for 50 crores in Telangana, 27 crores in Rayalaseema.
Varahi film distribution company has bought the rights of Uttarandhra (Vizag) for 13.27 Cr, Krishna rights for Rs 9 Cr and Ceded distribution rights for 27 Cr.
Given the euphoria surrounding the film, we can assume that buyers are expecting record breaking collection from Bahubali 2. The movie is gearing up for a release on April 28th, 2017.
