Story:
We are all aware of the fact that Baahubali (Prabhas) is declared as Mahishmati King. So now to look after Kingdom’s problems and all, Sivagami (Ramya Krishnan) insisted Prabhas to visit the Kingdom. During his visit in his kingdom, Baahubali comes across a small kingdom Kuntala and instantly falls in love with its royal princess Devasena (Anushka).
He tries to woo her and after few days later she also falls for him. What happened to Baahubali and Devasena love story? Why Sivagami announced Devasena as Rana’s wife? Why did Sivagami changed her decision and made Bhallaladeva as a King? and why did Kattappa kill Baahubali? Did Mahendra Baahubali take revenge over Bhallaladeva? Forms the rest of the story.

Performances:
Nevertheless, to say that it is Prabhas’ show all the way. He carried the film on his own shoulders. His utmost dedication and five years of hard work and commitment have clearly witnessed on the screen. Rana Daggubati is the best in the film and he is completely amazing in his role.

Right from the beginning of her character, the way Anushka behaves herself and the way her character unfolds towards the end is outstanding. She has recreated a new benchmark with the film.

Tamannaah Bhatia just appeared in the second part. Ramya Krishnan has shown her versatility again. Sathyaraj as Kattappa is out of the world and he is outstanding. Nasser is also good in his respective role and Subba Raju impressed in a key role in the film.

Positive Points:

The biggest highlight of the film is the emotional drama between the characters. From the starting to the end, the film never gets down. The first half of the film is high on emotional moments that deserves a second watch.

The scenes between Prabhas and Ramya Krishnan, Ramya Krishnan and Anushka., Sathyaraj and Ramya Krishna, Prabhas and Anushka came out very well. Rajamouli should take a bow for writing each and every single character has written very well with proper justice and the proper ending has been given to every single character.

Well, when it comes to the second part the film is high on story, emotions and drama. Technically, the film is top notch. The writing and screenplay have been amazing. The dialogues are good and meaningful.

Senthil Kumar’s cinematography is excellent. The editing by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao is very good. MM Keeravani has given the extraordinary score and with back ground score he has elevated the film perfectly. The graphics work is, as usual, the best in the movie. The production values of the film are lavish and except for ARKA Media Works, no one else could have done justice for the film as producers.

Negative Points:

The film has few hiccups here and there but they don’t show any effect on the film in the end. The comedy in the first half of the film appears to be forced and artificial. The climax of the film also disappoints with war sequences that are out of logic. The curiosity that was built around Kattappa Killing Baahubali has been revealed in an interesting yet predictable manner. The second half is dragged a bit.

Verdict:

Well, on the whole, the film is a sure shot blockbuster in Indian cinema and it will shatter all records. Hats off to the entire team for the great efforts and kudos to Jakkana and Prabhas. Baahubali 2 pushes the boundaries with its great content, high performances, emotions, and breathtaking visuals. An eye feast for audience.
