Review: Radha – Comedy and Romantic Entertainer
After consecutive hits with Malli Malli Idi Rani Roju, Express Raja, and Sathamanam Bhavathi, Sharwanand is back with romantic comedy drama, Radha. Well, now let’s see how the movie is:
Cast: Sharwanand, Lavanya Tripathi, Aksha Pardasany
Director: Chandra Mohan
Producer: B V S N Prasad
Banner: Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra
Sharwanand is a cop and his main aim is to help the needy people. One day he comes across Lavanya Tripathi and falls in love with her at the first time for her generous nature. The first half revolves around the both of them and how Sharwanand woos her. Aksha’s entry makes Lavanya jealous and realizes her love for him. What happened to their love story? How the story revolves around the love story of the leads and what makes the villain to take revenge? Forms the rest of the story.
Sharwanand is undoubtedly the biggest asset to the movie. Lavanya Tripathi looks beautiful as usual. Aksha Pardasany who did an extended cameo in the movie looked beautiful. Jaya Prakash Narayan and Brahmaji’s characters are very hilarious.
Chandra Mohan executed this action comedy romantic entertainer very well. Music by Radhan has been receiving a good response even before the release. Production values by Bhogavalli Baapineedu under Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra are lavish. Cinematography by Karthik Ghattamaneni is worth mentioning.
The second half is dragged a bit. And few scenes must have chopped off. The pre-climax is also not good.
Radha is a fun and romantic entertainer. One watch and girls can watch out for Sharwa’s charming and killer look as a cop.
