As a celebration of EID every year bollywood bhaijaan Salman Khan comes up with a film. This year he turned out to be a wrestler for the movie Sultan. Anushka Sharma is playing his love love interest and Randeep Hooda will be seen as his coach. Let’s see whether Sultan has made this EID more festivating.

Story:

Local wrestler Sultan Ali Khan (Salman Khan). desires for winning Gold Medal for India at Olympics. He then happens to meet Aarfa (Anushka Sharma) who has the same wish as he does. As days pass  both of them falls in love with each other. There takes place a sudden conflict in Sultan’s life and breaks him. After some time he once again readies himself to make a comeback but this time for UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship). Watch the film to know whether he is successful in achieving what he dreamed for.

Performance:

Salman has delivered one of his career best performances and he is the one who keeps alive audience’s interest till the end. His transformation into Sultan does the best for the movie. Anushka Sharma is quite convincing in the role of a wrestler. She pulled it off easily and made it significant despite the time length of her appearance. Randeep Hooda has done justice to his role as he had not much to play.

Final Verdict:

Sultan has an decent plotline that binds the audience to the movie till the end. Salman Khan has made it quite interesting with his performance and wrestling sequences. The film would have been a lot better if they have trimmed 15 to 20 minutes atleast. Ali Abbas Zafar handled the emotional scenes quite well. Watch it for Salman Khan and the fresh story.
