Ram Konidela (Ram Charan) shares a close and emotional bond with his four brothers. His elder brother Bhuvan Kumar (Prashant) is a sincere IAS officer, who works in Election Commission.  As a part of his work, Bhuvan is assigned with Vizag bi-election duties.

Rama involves in a fight with the local don and politician of Vizag Pandem Parasuram. Story shifts to Bihar in a flash back episode and then the plot shifts to Bihar, where Raja Bhai (Vivek Oberi) was introduced.

The remaining story is about how Ram confronts with Raja Bhai.

The script of the film is exhilarating, engaging, and entertaining ride to sit back and spend his time and money worthwhile. Vinaya Videya Rama is filled with several mass moments which should do enough to satisfy all the mass and mega fans.

The major plus of the film has to be Ram Charan who takes complete authority on his shoulders and the kind of high-voltage energy and youthful charm that he exudes is incredible. He plays as a very lovable person; a consistency is maintained in his character graph and the director deserves a pat on his back. Vinaya Videya Rama is definitely an addition to his list of action films as he performs, dances, emotes, fights and romances with the ease of the pro, that he is. Boyapati Srinu seems to have gelled well with Ram Charan, and it shows on screen. To experience more on what Ram Charan has done in the film, just head to a theater nearby. We aren’t writing anything more about his role!

Kiara Advani, despite her glamorous appearance, comes out with an authentic and top-notch performance thanks to the way she emotes, the apt dubbing voice for her and the manner in which she has lip-synced. She is out to grab all our attention, well and truly. The entire set of other actors does a good job with their respective screen time.

Vivek Oberi, the antagonist, delivers a wicked performance. Prashanth, Aryan Rajesh, and other two brothers acted well and proves why they are the right choice for the role. The high and mass moments that were seen in the trailer of the film become the highlights in the film as well. The family emotions work neatly and it is not overdone. At the same time, the stunt choreographer must be appreciated for his outstanding work in the pre-interval and climax action block.

Technical Aspects:

Director Boyapati Srinu is very clear with his intentions who puts forth an entertaining mass-action drama filled with family emotions. He understands the pulse of the fans and the mass and family audience and delivers a high-voltage product. Boyapati constructs a good amount of emotions neatly with his writing. The screenplay is taut and crisp enough to keep the crowd arrested. Stunts are good – the hyped Azerbaijan stunt was shot neatly.

DSP is another heavyweight in the film along with Ram Charan, and his background score does all that is required – elevate, emotionally move and echo. The VVR theme is used at the apt moments to aid the screen presence of our very own RAM- BO.

The production values are good and quite promising with richness bombarded. Rishi Punjabi and Arthur A. Wilson’s camera work have worked really well and the credits are to be given for both of them. Watch out for the end-credits bloopers like always, and leave the hall with a smile as emotion and action ought to be a satisfying experience.

In a nutshell, Vinaya Videya Rama is packaged with right commercial elements to satisfy the mass & family audience and mega fans.
